The memory of water  

The elders always told us that water had a memory. Water records all the stories that are offered to her.

Here in Québec, we have many lakes and rivers that have stories to share. We just have to take the time to sit and listen… to Kokoum Lost-One-Eye, the wise grand-mother…to Kwimu, the loon…to Otter and Hare…

This storytelling program lasts 1hr 15mins and is available to all audiences.

Technical information :

• Two wooden chairs without arms. One for the storyteller and one for his drum and guiguamakuan. (Please !
  a chair that does not crack more than the storyteller !)

• Stage size minimum 2m x 2m

• A headset microphone or a microphone on a boom stand. (Only if the acoustics and the venue require amplification)

• Lighting; discreet and warm for a storytelling ambiance and so that the storyteller can see the audience

• A bottle of water and a glass.
