Stories to the sound of the drum

«The sound of the drum» program is a métissage of contemporary and historic Native American stories.

This program invites you to meet Loon Woman, the beaver that lives in Montreal, Moshquashis, the moose with the orange head, the trail of tears, laughter on the trap line and…

Robert Seven-Crows will share these words accompanied by the guitar, hand drum, guiguamakuan and traditional songs.

This program lasts 1hr 15mins and is for adults and older children (12 yrs and older).

Technical information :

• Two wooden chairs without arms. One for the storyteller and one for his drum and guiguamakuan. (Please!
  a chair that does not crack more than the storyteller !)

• Stage size minimum 2m x 2m

• A headset microphone or a microphone on a boom stand. (Only if the acoustics and the venue require amplification)

• A DI box for the guitar. (Only if the acoustics and the venue require amplification)

• Lighting; discreet and warm for a storytelling ambiance and so that the storyteller can see the audience.

• A bottle of water and a glass.
